Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

 

Please read these rules carefully and check them regularly. This is a binding contract between you and Chatsworth Cricket Club (CCC).

 

These Official Rules form a binding contract between CCC and each Prize Draw participant. Entry into the Prize Draw constitutes the Participant’s agreement to the Official Rules and CCC decisions, which are (governed by the laws of England and Wales ) final and binding in all matters relating to the Prize Draw.

If you do not agree to these Official Rules do not enter the Prize Draw.

  1. The prize draw is being run by CCC

  2. All entries into a Prize draw have an equal chance of winning

  3. The profits raised through the Prize Draw will be used to support CCC

​

Eligibility to enter

​

  1. The prize draw is open to everyone over 18 years of age and legal residents in the United Kingdom

  2. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win

  3. The prize draw is £5 to enter. If you buy 2 entries in one transaction a 3rd entry is automatically given free.

How to enter

​

  1. The prize draw can be entered via the CCC website up until Midday on 30th September 2025. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw.

  2. You can enter as many times as you like.

  3. To enter the prize draw simply use the QR code on promotional material.

  4. Participants must provide all required information at the prize draw checkout webpage to be eligible to enter and win.

  5. Only accurate and complete entries submitted and received by CCC during the Entry Period are eligible. Any inaccurate, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or untimely entries are void and ineligible to win. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by CCC. CCC is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, mutilated, delayed, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, or for other submission problems of any kind, whether caused by mechanical, human or electronic error, all of which are void and ineligible to win. Additionally, CCC is not responsible for any telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties.

 

The prize

​

  1. The prize will be a Chatsworth Taste of Derbyshire Hamper or if not available a similar hamper of the same cost or higher

  2. CCC use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

  3. The winner will be drawn at random.

  4. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

  5. Any promotional material used by CCC to display the prize is to give an indication of what the contents of the hamper may be and does not represent what actually may be in the hamper at the time of purchase due to the changing nature of Chatsworth hampers.

  6. All Prizes are awarded as is, without any representations or warranties and cannot be transferred, sold, substituted, or redeemed for cash by the Participant. CCC reserves the right, in CCC sole discretion, to substitute any Prize with an alternative item of comparable or greater value or cash.

  7. CCC will not replace any lost or stolen Prize or components of a Prize

  8. The decision of CCC regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

 

Winner announcement

​

  1. The potential winner will be contacted on or before  October 31st 2025 using the email address or phone number used to enter the Prize Draw. The Potential Winner must respond to the notification within 14 days of it being sent. If a Potential Winner fails to respond to the notification within the stated timeframe, then that Potential Winner may be disqualified and will forfeit any claim to any Prize. If the winner does not respond to the emails or phone calls notifying them of their win within 14 days of the email, they will lose their right to the prize, and CCC reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.

  2. A Potential Winner will only be confirmed as the winner eligible to receive the Prize after CCC has completed verification of Potential Winner’s eligibility to win and confirmed Potential Winner’s compliance with the Official Rules

  3. The winner is entitled, at their discretion, to decline the Prize.

Receipt of the prize

​

  1. Please allow 28 days for delivery of the prize or alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement.

Data protection and publicity

​

  1. CCC reserves the right to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place for each of the Prize Draw – for example, the first name and county of the Winner.

  2. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by CCC for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.

  3. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at chatsworthcricketclub@gmail.com

  4. An announcement of the winners first name and county may be made via CCC social media sites.

General Conditions

  1. CCC reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify a Prize Draw, in whole or in part, due to any fraud, bugs, virus, technical failures, changes in the law, or any other factor beyond CCC’s reasonable control that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of a Prize Draw, as reasonably determined by CCC. Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion and at any time, to conduct maintenance for the Platforms or its systems that may suspend or otherwise impact access to a Prize Draw.

  2. CCC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY ANY INDIVIDUAL IT FINDS TO BE ATTEMPTING TO TAMPER WITH OR UNDERMINE THE ENTRY PROCESS, THE SITE, AND/OR THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PRIZE DRAW; TO BREACH THE OFFICIAL RULES; OR TO ACT IN AN UNSPORTSMANLIKE OR DISRUPTIVE MANNER OR WITH THE INTENT TO ANNOY, ABUSE, THREATEN, OR HARASS ANY OTHER PERSON.

Refunds, returns and exchanges

  1. CCC does do not provide refunds, returns or exchanges for the Prize Draw once paid

 

Changes to these Official Rules​

  1. CCC may amend these Official Rules at any time by posting the amended Official Rules on the website, and you agree that you will be bound by any changes to these Official Rules from the date they are published on the website. If, however, you have already entered a Prize Draw, the changes will not apply to any entries that you have already submitted, but they will apply to any future entries that you submit after the date on which the change becomes effective.

Limitation of Liability

  1. Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits CCC liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and (iii) any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict our liability.
    If CCC fails to comply with these Official Rules, CCC will be responsible for the loss or damage Participant suffers that is a foreseeable result of CCC’s breach of these Official Rules or its negligence, but CCC is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by Participant and CCC at the time that Participant entered the relevant Prize Draw.
    Notwithstanding the second paragraph of this section and save as set out in the first paragraph of this section, CCC’s maximum liability to you under these Rules, our aggregate liability to you or any third party in any circumstance shall not exceed one hundred British pounds sterling (£100).
    If for any reason, a Participant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Participant’s sole remedy is a refund.

  2. CCC does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that CCC does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.

  3. CCC does not provide any form of support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to product are that of the prize winner.

Governing Law; Jurisdiction

  1. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This means that your participation in the Prize Draw and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection therewith (including non-contractual disputes or claims), will be governed by English law. You can bring proceedings in respect of these Official Rules in the English courts. However, as a consumer, if you live in another part of the UK you will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of your local laws and can bring legal proceedings in respect of these Official Rules in either the English courts

  2. Severability: Each of the terms of these Official Rules operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in full force and effect.

  3. No Waiver: If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Official Rules, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

Personal Information

  1. CCC only uses Participant’s personal information in accordance with the CCC Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice. Please take the time to read the Privacy policy as it includes important information and terms which apply to each Participant.
